This is not where we convince you of the benefits of a dental website. Quite frankly, if you have an existing practice in today’s environment, you NEED a website. The general public expects today’s dentists to have dental websites. They will use your dental web site to access contact information, to browse services that you provide, to determine the insurance you accept, to get directions on how to get to your office or what address to plug into their GPS, etc. And, due to changing demographics, your practice MUST be on the web because many of today’s adults, especially young adults, only access businesses like yours through the Internet, via their computers and mobile phones. Google Goes Local on All Searches
Google just announced that it is providing local search results on all of its searches. Is your website primed to take advantage of this new feature?
Google announced on April 6, 2009, that it is now providing “local content” on all of its search results, according to its official blog.
In a post on its official blog Google wrote, “We like to make search as easy as we can, so we’ve just finished the worldwide rollout of local search results on a map, which will now appear even when you don’t type in a location.
